The River School Farm provides hands-on educational opportunities to people of all ages and skill levels. Our classes and workshops are unique, affordable, and open to the general public.

Unchained Tango
Mondays 6:00 - 9:00 PM
It's like classical tango but without all the rules. Come get your exercise during the cold Winter months by dancing the night away in our beautiful bamboo floor dance studio. You'll learn to dance the tango to all kinds of different music, including any song you wish to bring in.

Kundalini Yoga
Tuesdays 6:45 - 8:30 PM
Todd is a KRI Certified Instructor of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan and he has been practicing since 2001. Kundalini Yoga is a scientific technology for human health and happiness. In his classes he utilizes yoga, meditation, and the universal sound of the gong to allow the student to move beyond the boundaries of the mind into an expanded experience of oneself.

African Drum and Dance
Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:30 PM
African Drumming: Straight from the Ivory Coast, Mailly (Francis) Tagba and "Gboze" bring their high-energy djembe beats to this supercharged and dynamic class. Some of the best drummers in town are regulars and new players are made instantly welcome in the family atmosphere.

Raw Food Challenge
January 2
During a period of 30 days you will
learn and experience how a diet of predominately raw vegetables, fruits,
seeds, nuts, sprouts and herbs can improve your health and increase
your vitality. Some of the benefits of a raw food diet include,
increased energy, weight loss, general detoxification and mental
clarity. Raw Food Challenge starts January 2 with a screening of Simply
Raw at 5:30pm. The cost for this program is $50 and includes a weekly
meeting/potluck, coaching, and recipe ideas. Rory Ballard will be leading this challenge. See Rory's bio below.
Teeming with information and enthusiasm, Rory has worked in raw food education for over 5 years. He is a certified Permaculture Teacher, an avid researcher, a former manager of Cafe Gratitude, and owner of Earth Alchemy Foods.
